How Does It Work?

Within the Intensif handpiece, there are 25 ultrafinne, gold plated needles which penetrate into the skin.  When skin is exposed to the heat from the radio frequency energy in combination with the needle penetration, the body's healing response is triggered to produce collagen to repair and remodel the skin, resulting in natural and long lasting skin tightening and lifting.

Is There Any Downtime?

The skin may appear pink, hot to the touch and mild swelling may occur which should resolve within 48 hours.  Exercise should be avoided for 48 hours. Makeup and topical skincare should be avoided for 48 hours. It is advised to avoid active ingredients like retinoids and acids, while hydrating and growth factors are encouraged to be used.  Your practitioner will advise you according to your skin's specific requirements.

 

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

You may opt for a single treatment however we generally recommend a course of treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for optimal, long lasting results.

You will see the results within a few days after one session. However, we recommend you complete a course of treatments to see long-lasting and optimum results.
